Answer. Originally, a guest had to purchase a $1.00, including tax. The admission ticket granted entry to the park, with guests then purchasing separate tickets for each attraction at nearby ticket booths. This led to Disney's innovation on October 11, when coupon books were introduced. Created by Disneyland's Ed Ettinger, the books included park entry and coupons for eight attractions, priced at $2.50 for adults, $2.00 for juniors, and $1.50 for children.
